We are looking for an experienced CNC Punch Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating CNC punch presses, strong blueprint-reading skills, and a solid understanding of light-gauge metal fabrication.

Operate CNC punch presses and other production equipment, or assist other machine operators as required.
Select the appropriate punches and tooling based on material thickness and type.
Set up tooling, load programs, and adjust machine parameters to ensure optimal machine performance.
Operate and monitor Strippit Global and Amada CNC punch presses.
Inspect tooling and equipment to ensure they are in good condition and safe for use.
Produce parts consistently to the dimensional specifications outlined in mechanical engineering drawings.
Perform quality inspections and use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequently changing priorities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Maintain strong attention to detail and remain focused on the task at hand.
Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
Manually lift raw materials, finished products, and packaged items weighing up to 60 lbs; use a hoist for heavier materials when required.
Uphold all R.F. Mote standards related to the responsibilities of the position.
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience operating CNC punch presses, particularly Strippit Global and Amada equipment.
Proven experience working to close tolerances.
Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Proficient in using precision measuring tools, including:
Vernier calipers
Protractors
Tape measures
Other applicable inspection equipment
Solid understanding of light-gauge metal fabrication techniques and equipment.
Previous experience with shearing operations.
Knowledge of additional fabrication processes, such as hardware insertion, is an asset.
Forklift experience is an asset.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
$21.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
